To those faithful (or new) readers of the Arvee Family adventures we apologize for the absence of new adventures. The following will explain what has become of Stan and June Arvee.
June was elated when she received a phone call (on her new cell phone) from Artpark Performing Arts Center in Lewiston, New York. The Center was doing a revival of "Tin Pan Alley" with a modern twist; gals were performing pole dance routines. As this was one of June's passions, she had auditioned for the play before they left on the Route 1 RV journey, never thinking she would get the part.

So with some trepidation, June went out of the camper where she found Stan stringing lures for his fishing pole. "Ahhh, Ahhh, Stan I don't mean to interrupt you, but I just got an exciting phone call. I was selected for a part in that play I tried out for."
Stan laughed, then said "That's great Hon, when do you start rehersals?" "I start next week" June whispered. "NEXT WEEK!" Stan growled. "You can't, we have our Route 1 trip all planned out. You will just have to call them and say, thanks, but no thanks."
June burst into tears and shouted back "this is a chance of a lifetime and I'm not going to miss this opportunity. I promise when the show closes, we will continue our trip where we left off."
After much back and forth, Stan relented and agreed to go back to Lackawanna so June could be in her darn show. He couldn't fathom why a 61 year old woman would want to be up on stage, jiggling for the whole world to see. Well, thank God Artpark is 30 miles away from Lackawanna and none of HIS friends will see her.
June has shined in her performances of "Tin Pan Alley." The show received rave reviews by the Buffalo News and Lewiston Globe. She loves the dancing but will be happy to get back on Route 1 to continue their RV journey.
